Running it, start to finish
- Paste the page copy in order with the mobile fold marked.
- Include the exact ad or link visitors clicked to get there.
- Ship the top three replacement blocks and measure before doing more.
What you get back
The output this produces, every time.
- Answers the four eight-second questions from your above-the-fold copy alone and reports which cannot be answered.
- Checks message match against what the visitor clicked, which loses more traffic than anything further down.
- Writes replacement copy for the top three fixes rather than describing them.
Getting better results
Where this usually goes wrong, and how to avoid it.
- Mark the fold accurately. on a phone, not a desktop. Most of the finding in section 1 depends on that line being in the right place.
- Describe the traffic source precisely. Paste the ad or the link text. Section 2 cannot work from 'organic search', and message match is where the cheapest wins are.
- Fix objection ordering before rewriting copy. Moving an existing answer above the point where the objection arises is usually cheaper and more effective than new copy.
