Terms of Service & Licence
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These terms govern your purchase and use of digital products from The AI University (the “Author”). Each product also ships with a LICENSE and DISCLAIMER.md file; those documents and our Disclaimer are incorporated into these terms by reference.
1. What you are buying
Products sold here are digital goods: software source code, AI prompts, courses, documentation, and related resources. Access is delivered to your account library immediately after payment. The Software is licensed, not sold — the Author retains all right, title, and interest in it.
2. Licence granted to you
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to:
- install and run the software on computers under your personal control;
- modify and create derivative works for your own personal, educational, research, or study purposes; and
- use the software for your own backtesting, simulation, screening, and learning.
Modifications remain subject to this licence and may not be distributed.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- redistribute, republish, mirror, share, sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or host as a service the software, its source code, its prompts, or any substantial portion or derivative — whether free or paid;
- use it to operate a paid or commercial service for third parties (a hosted version, SaaS, white-label product, or managed-account service);
- repackage it as part of any course, template, product, or bundle;
- remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, disclaimer, or attribution notice;
- use The AI University's name, branding, or logos to endorse or market any product without written permission;
- reverse-engineer or repackage it to circumvent this licence; or
- use it to make, inform, or execute trading decisions involving third-party funds, or to provide trading recommendations, research, or advisory services to others. The software is not designed or licensed for such use.
Educational excerpts: attributed code excerpts under 30 lines may be shown in videos, blog posts, or articles for educational discussion, provided you credit “The AI University” and link back to this store.
For a commercial licence, resale, or redistribution rights, contact theaiuniversity@gmail.com.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment security, invoicing, and applicable sales tax or VAT. Your card is charged by Paddle.com on behalf of The AI University — the charge will appear on your statement as Paddle, not as our brand name.
5. Refund policy — all sales are final
Because digital products grant immediate, irrevocable access to source code and prompts, all sales are final and no refunds are provided once access has been delivered, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law or by the terms of the payment processor acting as merchant of record (for example, duplicate charges or failure to deliver). If something went wrong with your order, contact theaiuniversity@gmail.com and we will make it right.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Purchases are tied to your account and accessible from your library. Sharing account access in order to distribute purchased materials is a breach of these terms.
7. Educational products — not financial advice
Everything sold here is educational. The Author is not registered with the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, any U.S. state securities regulator, or SEBI (as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst). See the full legal disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
8. No warranty
The software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. You bear the entire risk as to its quality and performance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Author shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including trading or investment losses, loss of profits, revenue, capital, data, or goodwill, professional fees, or cost of substitute software. Where liability cannot be excluded, total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid. Your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the software.
10. Time limit on claims
Any claim arising out of or related to the software or these terms must be commenced within one (1) year after it arose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Author from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the software, your breach of these terms or the disclaimer, your violation of any third-party terms or applicable law, any trading or investment decision you make, or any content you distribute that incorporates the software in breach of Section 3.
12. Termination
This licence terminates automatically upon your breach of any of its terms. On termination you must stop using the software and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections 3 and 7 through 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the Author's residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remainder shall continue in full force.
