The brief

Questions that arrive in the first email
- Do I own the code?
- Yes. You get the source code, the deployment instructions and the Claude prompts that produced it. No licence fee, no revenue share, no lock-in, and nothing phones home.
- What if I need changes after handover?
- A Tool Build includes one round of revisions and an Automation Build two, within 14 days of handover. Anything past that is quoted separately, or covered by Embedded if the changes are continuous.
- How fast can you start?
- Usually within a week. Current availability is confirmed in the reply to your brief, before anything is agreed.
- What happens if it does not work?
- Fixed scope means fixed acceptance criteria, agreed in writing before work starts. If the delivered software does not meet them, it is not finished, and it does not get invoiced as finished.
- What do you build with?
- Whatever the job needs, usually Python or TypeScript — FastAPI, Next.js, Postgres, and Claude for the parts that benefit from a model. The stack is chosen for what you will have to maintain afterwards, not for what is quickest to write.
- Where are you based?
- The United States. Work is remote and async by default, with a call when a call is genuinely faster than writing it down.
