Running it, start to finish
- Confirm a habit is the right tool for this.
- Attach the minimum version to an existing daily action.
- Remove the setup friction before day one.
What you get back
The output this produces, every time.
- Checks whether a habit is even the right tool, or whether a one-time structural change would do it.
- Sizes the minimum version for the worst day, since the streak matters more than the progress.
- Diagnoses why previous attempts failed, so the new plan differs in that specific respect.
Getting better results
Where this usually goes wrong, and how to avoid it.
- Make the minimum embarrassingly small. Two minutes. The small version exists to protect the streak, and the streak is what makes the real version possible.
- Use an event trigger, not a time. The day moves and a time-based trigger moves with it. An action you already reliably perform does not.
- Never miss twice. One day is noise. Two is the start of stopping, and section 6 exists so that rule is decided before it is needed.

Week Triage by Consequence
Sorts an overloaded list by what actually happens if each item slips, rather than by urgency theatre — and tells you what to drop outright.
