Getting better results

- Decide on character voices first. It changes the whole preparation, and it is the author's call rather than the narrator's.
- Read the marked passages aloud. Stumbles are retakes. Nothing except reading it aloud finds them in advance.
- Handle the visual constructions before the booth. Tables, footnotes and cross-references do not survive being read out, and discovering that in session is expensive.
