Where this usually goes wrong, and how to avoid it.
- Use a timestamped transcript. Everything valuable here depends on it. Without timestamps the chapters and quotes cannot be located in the audio.
- Be generous with chapters. Ten short chapters beat four long ones. They are navigation, and nobody complains that navigation is too detailed.
- Do not over-clean the quotes. Removing filler is fine. Rewriting them into prose makes them sound invented, and listeners who heard the episode notice.
