Running it, start to finish

  1. Export a timestamped transcript.
  2. Publish the chapters as real chapter markers where your platform supports them.
  3. Keep section 8 as your episode backlog.

What you get back

The output this produces, every time.

  • Writes chapter titles specific enough to be chosen from a list, which is how people re-find a moment.
  • Pulls verbatim quotes with timestamps rather than paraphrases.
  • Works in the terms someone would actually search, which is what keeps an episode discoverable.

Getting better results

Where this usually goes wrong, and how to avoid it.

  • Use a timestamped transcript. Everything valuable here depends on it. Without timestamps the chapters and quotes cannot be located in the audio.
  • Be generous with chapters. Ten short chapters beat four long ones. They are navigation, and nobody complains that navigation is too detailed.
  • Do not over-clean the quotes. Removing filler is fine. Rewriting them into prose makes them sound invented, and listeners who heard the episode notice.
